Daniel embarked on his professional journey in the field of international education following a transformative study abroad experience in Rome. With a robust background as an English Instructor in Taiwan and Japan, Daniel has acquired invaluable cross-cultural communication skills and extensive experience in language instruction.
Presently, Daniel oversee all administrative, academic, and business operations for the Department of City & Regional Planning, including student services, human resources, payroll, and budgetary functions at the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley.
Daniel proudly holds a degree from the University of Washington, where he fostered his passion for academic excellence (go Huskies!). Additionally, he is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the esteemed Project Management Institute. He has further augmented his skill set through certifications in Project Management and Business Process Management at UC Berkeley.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Daniel engages in community service as a college and professional success mentor for high school students in the greater Seattle area. Moreover, he dedicates his time to the Berkeley Food Network, supporting their mission to address food insecurity.
